At the table that day

We left Aman at the counter and stepped on those high narrow stairs to reach the sitting area. I decided the table; we sat and waited for Aman to join us. “This is where you can celebrate your birthday, not at that filthy restaurant – Green Chilly,” said I with a heavy taunt in my voice. “My friends agreed to be there for the celebration, and moreover I had no idea about this place, so ‘Green Chilly’ seemed perfect for us yesterday,” she replied.  “So, how was yesterday spent? You enjoyed?” I tried to make a bridge for my real question, so that I could hope for a true answer. “It was good, we friends gathered, had Chinese food for lunch and lot of clicks,” she answered. There was a weird pressure upon the word ‘clicks’. “Great! Met your boyfriend?” I asked my awaited query, this time I was quick, but I feared that if I get a boring reply. “No, he refused to meet me” Refused to meet? Yes, I heard it right! But I wasn’t expecting this one. I expected for, YES WE MET or YES WE WENT F

A view for the war

This post basically points out the post/pre/side effects of indo-pak terrorist/war matter. I know my review or my opinion isnt much of worth yet I would like to present my thoughts over this topic. I do not intent, in any case, to hurt or to disrespect any religion caste and country. Its just a point of view. Well, URI attack! One of the terrible events taken place in indo-pak contexts. Our soldiers were killed! For what? Greed? Land? No reason can justify the death! No reason is sufficient!  Who died were brave! Who died were the Indians! Who died were *humans*! Well. The saddest part- 'its not the last attack.' But guys, now I would like to point that, who attacked are to be punished! Why the rest are being criticized? I mean, why Pakistanis and Muslims are being criticized for what that terrorist group did? Friends, do you remember, there were always a small group of students in the class who would create nuisance and teacher punished the whole class. Same is happeni

D too worked with L. Chapter-1.

It was six years ago when I saw L’ for the first time. He was brought to Wammy’s house, just after a week when I was brought here. He was an ordinary boy who rolled his eye ball here and there as he walked in, along with uncle Wammy. “Here we go dear, stay with them and enjoy. I need to do some paperwork and arrangements for accommodating a new member to the family,” Said uncle Wammy with the great swiftness in his voice and then he left L’ in the hall, filled with several children. Everyone was busy in their games and toys; however few, including me, noticed a new boy in the hall. He unfolded his muffler and walked towards the wall. He stood still for a moment and then crouched on the floor with his knees bent in front of his chest. He exhaled a deep breathe and closed his eyes. I was also new to this orphanage, just a week ago I was brought here, so I didn’t have any friend, so it felt me more comfortable to befriend him. I went to him and sat nearby. He didn’t move, I

A talk with the monster

Every day after cooking the meal Ankan would sit on floor near the bed of his mistress, Nire, and they used to get chatty with each other as old friends. “When you realized that you are permanently paralyzed did you wished ending up your life?” Ankan asked Nire one day. Nire smiled looking at him and spoke, “It was our second marriage anniversary. In the evening, while going to a restaurant, a damn truck lost its control and crashed over our car. I collapsed. It was then one day later, at midnight I came back to my senses when I saw my father standing by my side. He explained me why and where I was. I inquired about Sheer, my husband. Father told me, that Sheer died at the spot and that accident made my body permanently paralyzed. I started to scream, I shouted his name, and cursed God and wished for my death. I bit my tongue and tried to stop breathing to kill myself. Father, along with the nurse, failed to calm me and hence medical staff injected me to sleep.” Ankan listened to

Saw my best friend part 2

Wife lifted herself and looked deep into the eyes of her loving husband. He was the only person who knows exactly, how to treat her, how to comfort her and how to love her. She knew it well that her husband never liked to hear the stories or talks about Deva, but for the sake of her smile he always listened to her. But she was now required to answer, so she calmed herself and started telling that why she didn’t met her best friend. “He was at the flower shop,” she started, arranging all the incidents in her memory, she sounded firm, she continued, “few steps away, holding flowers in his hand. At first it seemed he hasn’t noticed me so I started walking rapidly towards him. I wanted to surprise him. Several thoughts rushed into my head. I was staring him, trying to notice what all had changed in him during these eight years. He has buffed up! He is no longer thin like those old days.” Sanjeev was listening to his wife very carefully and in his imagination, he picturized everything t
